The 135th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) grandly opened in Guangzhou. The first phase was themed "Advanced Manufacturing", highlighting the focus of advanced industries and innovative technologies. Companies from all over the country brought many new technologies, new products, new applications. The total exhibition area reached 1.55 million square meters, with 55 exhibition areas, a total of about 74,000 booths, and 29,000 exhibiting companies; as of the 14th, 149,000 overseas buyers from 215 countries and regions had pre-registered. An increase of 17.4% compared with the previous session, attracting many domestic and foreign enterprises and purchasers.
